Stakeholder Engagement

During this phase we shall gather thoughts, ideas and aspirations from all our stakeholders in the borough. We shall do this through:

1.Surveys (like this one)

2. Workshops with partners and community groups

3. focus groups across the borough with resident groups.

Together with all stakeholders, we shall develop the actions necessary to achieve our aspirations over the next 10 years. So far, we have held the following events to gather thoughts:

1. Staff workshops in October 2023 asking our staff to indicate priority areas for the borough.

2. Partnership workshop in December 2023 we convened a broad group of partners and learned a lot about what priorities need to be included in our vision and the actions needed to achieve them.

3. A resident survey in January 2024 asks all residents to indicate what they want us to focus on for the next decade.

4. Between March to May, we shall conduct in-person engagements with underrepresented groups of residents to learn about their broad priorities and develop a truly inclusive vision for the borough.

Development of a Vision for our borough

At this stage, we shall develop all the brilliant ideas from our stakeholders into actionable steps in a vision document. We would also ensure that these actions are aligned with actions developed through other recent engagements across the borough eg. Your Bruce Grove, Tottenham Voices, the Culture Strategy etc. It would help us build a coherent 10 year vision for our borough and take actions to achieve that.

Our vision document would include a broad narrative for our shared goals over the next decade and help us all identify ways of working together to achieve them.

Final Borough Vision for Cabinet Approval

The Borough Vision would be presented to the Cabinet for final inputs and adoption as Haringey's Vision for 2035.
